The CIS 3VBM-13 125mm APFSDS-T munition is fired from the D81 gun on the T-64, T-72 and T-80 Main Battle Tanks (MBT) as well as the 2A45 and 2A45M anti-tank gun. It also can be fired from the Yugo. M-84 MBT. The projectile is designated BM-32, the auxilliary charge, BM-38, and the complete round 3VBM-13.
The
munition is similiar in apperance to the KEP; however, the 3VBM-13 differes
considerably in construction as it incorporates a monolithic DU (depleted
uranium) penetrator core.
The
munition is similiar in apperance to the earlier CIS HEAT round; however,
the 3VBK-17 differes considerably in construction as it incorporates a
monolithic DU (depleted uranium) shape charge liner.
The
munition is similiar in apperance to the earlier CIS APFSDS rounds; however,
the 3VBM-17 differes considerably in construction as it incorporates a
Tungsten steel projectile core.
