expert - Depleted uranium causes tumors
Munich - Remnants of projectiles with depleted uranium used by NATO during the war in Kosovo and the Gulf War can cause tumors, claims Horst Kuni (sp?), a respected German nuclear biologist, in "Deutsche Zeitung".
He explained that after the explosion of projectiles with depleted uranium, uranium oxide dust is produced which is later transported by wind and rain. (Srna)
