ANDRE Lussi stepped aside temporarily as president and chief executive of Clearstream yesterday after the Luxembourg prosecutor's office launched a probe into possible money laundering at the securities processing company.

Carlos Salvatori, head of Mr Lussi's office, and Robert Massol, managing director and chief human resources officer, also stepped aside temporarily.

Andre Roelants, a board member, will be interim chief executive.
