General Discussion

Radiation syndromes describe the harmful effects--acute, delayed, or chronic--produced by exposure to ionizing radiations. Tissues vary in response to immediate radiation injury according to the following descending order of sensitivity: (1) lymph cells (2) reproductive organs (3) proliferating cells of the bone marrow (4) epithelial cells of the bowel (5) top layer (epidermis) of the skin (6) liver cells (7) epithelium of the little lung sacs (alveoli) and bile passages (8) kidney epithelial cells (9) endothelial cells of the membranes around the lungs, lining the chest cavity (pleura) and the abdominal cavity (peritoneum) (10) nerve cells (11) bone cells (12) muscle and connective tissue. Generally, the more rapid the turnover of the cell, the greater the radiation sensitivity.

Comments:

Here is the recognized sensitivity order for radiation injury on the human body. Note that radiation effect first cause damage to the lymph cells.

This same effect happens with DU insoluble oxides in the lungs causing cell damage that is taken with the DU into the lymph nodes, where the lymph node pathogenic destruction function is impaired.

This happens primarily because the damaged cells with free radicals and free radical products are taken into the lymph nodes via the immune system activation of marcophages and this effect acting as a bioconcentration mechanism. This makes these lymph system stationary macrophages experience serious toxic stress before all other in the body and with this the loss of pathogen destruction for the body. This then leading to cancers and dozens of other pathogen out of regulation effects leading to a myriad of immune linked diseases.

This same effect happens for chemical oxidants, pesticides, and toxic metals in the body and adds directly to the risk of illness due to damaging this component of the immune system.

This effect is the prime mechanism behind all the mysterious diseases around DOE plants, all the undiagnosed illness involved in GWS, and those of MCS and CFS.

Fluorides cause a very similar effect due to fluorine affinity for calcium in cells and the immune system pulling these damaged cells into lymph nodes all thru the body and the macrophage peroxide based chemistry not having the ability to remove insoluble calcium fluoride. This is also a very serious bioconcentration mechanism that long term affects these cells.

Medical practitioners that fail to link these health effects to toxic emissions of industries must be considered as indemnifying the injuries caused by these toxic polluters and subject to full legal proceedings for misdiagnosis or incomplete diagnosis and acting in league on allowing the polluters to injure patients and residents of regions so affected.
