IAC REQUESTS INVESTIGATIONS REGARDING
DEPLETED URANIUM
Prishtina, Jan. 9 (KosovaLive)

Members of the Interim Administrative Council (IAC) of Kosova and Chief Administrator for Kosova, Bernard Kouchner, agreed Tuesday that independent experts, not persons involved in the issue of depleted uranium, should investigate the presence of radioactivity caused by the substance in Kosova, putting an end to speculations.

"The issue of uranium is not a case that should be hurried, but we must be sure as to what is happening. I do not think that we are facing an emergency problem... Some people are threatened, we have to be serious," Dr. Kouchner said after the IAC meeting.

Hajredin Kuci, vice-president of Kosova's Democratic Party, said the IAC agreed on forming a group that will conduct the issue of radioactivity in a permanent manner. "We agreed to work in this direction, not because of the propaganda, but because of public health of the citizens that live here. We have requested that the expertise be carried out by an independent investigation team, not by people involved in the issue," Kuci said.

Ibrahim Rugova, President of Kosova's Democratic League said: "Our request is for the investigations to be directed by NATO and different commissions, in order to come to an end of the matter, because there are some factors who want to destabilize Kosova and who are against democracy, normal life and Kosova's independence.

Today's IAC meeting was the last one chaired by Dr. Kouchner, who leaves Kosova handing over his duty to his successor, Hans Haekkerup. (b.bala)

Comments: Kosovars have now billions of years to understand WHO are friends and WHO are enemies and WHO is really destabilizing the World. But, remember. there is "no link".
