The smear campaign on DU against Durakovic and Sharma started a few years back and it continues today---------as folks like Rokke, Durokovic, and others air the issue in Europe since the US has been doing smear tactics.

The basic issue is the US is lying.    DU causes increased rish to health. Its also basically toxic nuclear wastes.  Around Oak Ridge is worse because it compounded with fluorine, which is extremely toxic and easily airborne. DU oxides of metals gets into the bone and into the lymph nodes and adds to other toxics and early diseases result. Its mostly a lead or nickel like toxic metal, but with some radiation oxidation effects tossed in the soup.

 From the nickel industries we know that just walking thru nickel dusts stirrs enough up to put an exposed person over the daily occupational dose levels. For lead, its screwed up most of Europe in the past and killed millions.

Not much different here with DU toxic effects.

For DU, its the lymph node concentration effects that are the most important, as the other toxics from the Gulf War landed there too--------so add in fluorides, chlorides and such----------and then one knows why their immune cellular defenses crashed.

And there is then a wide range of diseases seen as the outcome, but most all of them immune linked diseases.

The US is into whole sale lying about chemical illnesses, be it from industry, nukes, or DU in wars.
