I can confirm that five families of soldiers who had died of cancer and 18 severely ill soldiers who had participated in peace missions in former Yugoslavia, brought charges to Public Attorney's Office in Brussels.

In fact this happened in february. For me, it was a good reason to organise a hearing in the Belgian Parliament, where soldiers and families told about there problems. End of march, as a result of my request, the Parliament decided to install a special committee on the so-called Balkan-syndrome. It will starts it activities in the weeks to come.
