Today Is 21st Anniversary Of 3 Mile Island Accident:
President Carter, Admiral Rickover Cover-Up of 3 Mile Island

Subject: President Carter, Admiral Rickover Cover-Up of 3 Mile Island

Today, Tuesday March 28, 2000, is the 21st anniversary of the 3 Mile Island accident. Here is the  second of 2 signed, notorized statements showing that there was and still is  a HUGE cover up of the accident  going on, perpetrated by former US President Jimmy Carter. See:

I've spoken with Jane  Rickover, the daughter-in law of the now deceased Admiral Hyman Rickover  many times in depth. She swears up & down as to the validity of this signed, notorized statement. Also, that Dan Rather of CBS contacted her and her then husband, Robert Rickover, Admiral Rickover's son and sounded EXTREMELY  interested in looking into this. They never heard from him again or any other corporate media. Mr. Rather was obviously told just where true investigative journalism ends- at the profit line. Please see and investigate for yourselves. Also, please dissemenate this as widely as possible.

The following statement was signed by Jane Rickover, daughter-in-law of  Admiral Hyman Rickover, "father" of the nuclear navy. It was notorized by William Lamson July 18, 1986. I have spoken with  Jane Rickover in depth a number of times. She has verified the authenticity of the document and the events described in it.

"In May, 1983, my father-in-law, Admiral Hyman G. Rickover, told me that  at the time of the Three Mile Island nuclear   reactor accident, a full report was commissioned by by President Jimmy  Carter. He [my father-in-law] said that the report,   if published in its entirety, would have destroyed the civilian nuclear  power industry because the accident at Three Mile  Island was infinitely more dangerous than was ever made public. he told me that he had used his enormous personal influence  with President Carter to persuade him to publish the report only in a  highly "diluted" form. The President himself had  originally wished the full report to be made public.

In November, 1985, my father-in-law told me that he had come to deeply  regret his action in persuading President Carter to suppress the most alarming aspects of that report.

Jane Rickover appeared before me and swore as to the truth of the  above statement.
